About C.M. Radcliff
C.M. Radcliff is an author of dark words. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two demon children. Known as the Psycho Queen, she speaks fluent sarcasm, dark humor, and has the mouth of a sailor. If she isn’t reading or writing, she’s probably on an adventure with her little family.
We asked C.M. Radcliff a quick round of questions, and here are her answers:
Q1: What was the best money you ever spent as a writer?
A: I think the best money that I have ever spent as a writer has been the amazing covers that I have on my books.
Q2: What does literary success look like to you?
A: When I published my first book, literary success to me was having one person that I didn’t know read my book. As I’ve grown as a writer, my goals have changed and so have my views on my own personal success. As long as I’m still writing and publishing, I feel as though I’m being successful with getting my stories out there for others to read.
Q3: Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?
A: I do. Everyone says not to read them, but I think we all do. The good reviews always bring me joy and I cherish them so much. The bad reviews are always tough to read, but I give myself a moment or two to dwell on them and then I move on.
Q4: Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
A: I love easter eggs and tend to sprinkle them throughout my writing frequently.
Q6: Do you listen to audiobooks? If so, are there any you’d recommend?
A: I don’t. I retain more from reading rather than listening, although I think audiobooks are a great part of the book world.
Q7: What was your dream job when you were younger?
A: When I was a kid, I wanted to be a cat. When I discovered that was physically impossible, I decided I wanted to be a vet.
Q8: What are you reading now?
A: Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight
Q10: What is the best part of your day?
A: The best part of my day is spending time with my kids and my husband.
Books by C.M. Radcliff
Life is full of variables.
We crave control, but in reality, we have very little.
I left home with a plan: get the full college experience and pass my classes.
But that all changed when I met him.
Ander was the last thing I needed.
He was never part of my plan.
He was the one variable in my life that I could never control.
And we were destined for destruction.
